Documentary film "Я найду тебя, отец"
(I will find you, father) with German subtitles
About the film:
Dear friends of the children of liberation!
The documentary film "Я найду тебя, отец" (I will find you, father) by Natalia Spiridonova (Telekompania Plejada) is about the long search of the Austrian woman Eleonore Dupuis for the trace of her Soviet father.
Other Austrian children with Soviet roots born after the Second World War also have their say, as well as interviews with scientists, historians, experts and veterans.
Filming began in Moscow in 2013 and was completed in 2023 in Vienna, Graz, St. Pölten and Hochwolkersdorf.
The film was broadcast on 5 May 2024 on the Russian channel Kultura.
I would like to add that after the filming was finished, in October 2023, I found among my mother's papers (for the first time in my life!) a small notebook in which she had written down my father's first and last name as she had heard it: Mikhail Krovan, and underneath: Kalinin (Tver).

Information about the annual meeting on 6. 11. 2021
Dear Russian children and friends,
according to the occasion there was an agreement with the German-Russian Museum in Berlin-Karlshorst about the realization of our annual meeting. The usual 3 - G - rule applies - i.e. vaccinated, recovered or tested. It will be checked at the entrance.
If possible, a list of participants should be submitted in advance: Name, address, mail address, telephone of all interested persons. Those who decide to attend sporadically will be admitted under the above rules.
We recommend to visit the outdoor exhibition after our meeting: "Dimensions of a Crime. Soviet prisoners of war in the Second World War". The visit is possible without restrictions.
We are glad to be able to give an account of our work to the circle of members and friends .
